Batik Quilt - for Barb
I love Batiks. While I love fabric, I admit Batiks pull me in the most.
This quilt is for my sister-in-law, Barb. It is a special quilt for her and a bit of a housewarming gift. She wanted color....and this is what she is getting.

2015 - First Quilt
Colorful fabrics, including one by Laurel Burch, seemed to call out to me. I think I just want to do an easy-peasy quilt so I cut five-inch squares. I have lots going on this month so it isn't going to be a quick quilt. With the coziness of snow and cold outside, it's a perfect setting to sew. I can't wait to sit at my machine and sew.
