Jenny Doan Visits S/E Michigan

      It was a pleasure to be present for Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Company's special visit to S/E Michigan on Saturday, December 5th @ Macomb College.  It was a great 2 1/2 hours of Jenny, Quilting, and fun.  She is a great speaker and a very funny person.   

     I simply love quilting.  But you know, after leaving the show, I felt even more inspired and confident.  ♥♥♥♥♥

2015 - First Quilt

     Colorful fabrics, including one by Laurel Burch, seemed to call out to me.  I think I just want to do an easy-peasy quilt so I cut five-inch squares.  I have lots going on this month so it isn't going to be a quick quilt.  With the coziness of snow and cold outside, it's a perfect setting to sew.  I can't wait to sit at my machine and sew.
